Name: Aurella Lead Bernardo
Date Met: Nov 2005
Place Met: Sophomore’s Homeroom PSM Al-Khuwair Muscat Oman
People called her Plumbum before because of her name. Lead. Get it? Lead is an element with a scientific name Plumbum. Sheryl called her pekpek girl (more on this later).
I believe Jamil was the first one to meet her before the whole class. What I noticed about her before were: bloodshot eyes and she looked lifeless / emo.
She was called pekek girl because whenever she plays volleyball before, she puts in pektus (that phenomenon wherein you hit the ball and it would spin wildly). Thus the name pekpek girl.
During Junior year, she always changes seats with me just to talk to JJ. I have nothing against it but yeah, kinda irritating at some point.
As far as I know, she dumped Jamil and rejected Raphael before he could even make a move on her.
She was JJ’s consistent friend (her group was called ‘The Stairs Gang’ because they always bunch up on the stairs leading to the rooftop. Credits goes to Kevin for this information).
She’s one of the stable honour students in class and before I forget, she hailed from Qatar before going to Oman.
Well, the worst memory of her would be the exchanging of seats even if I was against it. The other one would be that we were arguing about th pronunciation of corps: I said it was ‘kor’ while she insisted it was ‘korps’. Well, how do you pronounce corpse, then :p?
The best, on the other hand, would be that she was one of the people who texted me to get well when I got sick once and she’s a solid volleyball friend.
As of now, I do not have much info on her since she’s not present on most reunions but if she is, then she brings her friend AJ along (whom I find very kind). She’s studying at CEU with a concentration on Opthalmology (Eye doctor for those idiots out there).
Fun fact: She brings a professional camera during reunions. Guess that’s her hobby now :p
Overall, I would say Lead is your ordinary friend in a class but excels in many different ways.
